Congratulations
Rural Development Institute!

For
over 40 years in over forty-five countries, the Seattle-based
Rural
Development Institute (RDI) has been
helping developing country governments to secure land
rights for more than 400 million of the world's poorest
people. With offices in China, India, Indonesia and
Rwanda, RDI is engaged in a number of projects with
global leaders, governments and NGOs, including efforts
to secure women's property rights and an ambitious "micro-land
ownership" program in India. Thanks to the success
of that program, RDI is expanding and opening three
new offices this year. RDI has been nominated for multiple
awards for its innovative work, including the Hilton
Humanitarian Prize, the World Food Prize and the Nobel
Prize.
