Evergreen Award
Dear Colleague:
Executive Alliance is pleased to announce the 2008 Evergreen Award and to call for applications. For 15 years, the Evergreen Award has recognized nonprofit organizations for their contributions to our communities and well-being. This year we are inviting nonprofits to showcase their work by directly submitting an application for this prestigious award.
In keeping with the Washington State Nonprofit Conference theme, The 21st Century, the New Nonprofit, we will honor nonprofit organizations that exemplify the use of groundbreaking partnerships and collaborations. Eligible collaborations include partnership between nonprofits and across the public, for-profit, and nonprofit sectors. Please consider submitting a specific project, program, or initiative which exemplifies your use of partnerships which benefit the broader community.
Why do you want to apply for the Evergreen Award? This prestigious award has been presented annually for years to the top organizations in the nonprofit sector. As the winning organization:
- You will be presented with the Evergreen Award at the 2008 Washington State Nonprofit Conference and receive recognition by the award sponsor, HomeStreet Bank, and hundreds of your peers.
- Your organization and your collaborating partners will be recognized and promoted though the conference and Executive Alliance websites; through press releases to local media and a letter to your board chair recognizing your leadership in innovative collaborations and partnerships.
How do you apply? Click here for the application. The application process is straightforward and easy to complete. Enclosed are the instructions and application for 2008. After completing your application form, please email it with Evergreen Award in the subject line to Executive Alliance at mbrown@exec-alliance.org by the Friday, March 20, 2008 deadline.
A committee of Executive Alliance members will review the applications and select the winning organization to receive 2008 Evergreen Award. The award will be presented during the Annual Washington State Nonprofit Conference on April 9, 2008 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. There is more information about the conference on the web at http://www.npconference.org.
Thank you for your continued efforts to build a strong nonprofit sector in Washington. We look forward to receiving your application and honoring your accomplishments.
Previous years Evergreen Award winners.
